- Pacha kaya-1-2 nos
- Mampayar(van payar)-1/4 cup
- Grated Cocunut-1/4 cup
- Pachamulakku-3
- jeerakam-a pinch
- Cooking oil
- kariveppila
- Turmeric powder,salt chiili powder-as reqd
Preparation :
- Soak the mampayar over night or soak it in hot water before 3 hrs of preparation
- Cut the kaya and cook the mampayar and kaya, + turmeric powder in the pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles
- Grind the cocunut, pachamulaku and pinch of jeere well in a ammi/mixie
- Add the above mix to the kaya-mampayar and add salt and water till it gets mixed well.
- Once its boiled ( for about a minute), dump the kariveppila to curry and add few drops of oil..
This can be served along with kanji/rice...
