DRY CAPSICUM MASALA

Ingredients:

· Capsicum

· Red chilly powder

· Coriander seeds/powder

· Peanuts(Nelakadala)

· Grated dry coconut

· Mustard

· Tamarind(Puli)(soaked in water)

· Salt & Oil

Method:

  • Roast coriander/coriander powder, peanuts & coconut and grind them into a smooth paste.
  • Heat little oil in a pan. Add mustard and jeera.
  • Add capsicum pieces and fry.Remove it from the cooking pan & keep aside.
  • Heat up some more oil in the pan.
  • Add the ground paste and red chilly powder fry.
  • Add tamarind water, salt and cook till the gravy thickens.
  • Add the capsicum and cook further for some more time.
  • Serve with chappathi/rice.
